On a more serious note, this probably will take most of my free time and I really need the money it might get me. Looks like I'm the only one out of my units who applied for disability didn't do this yet. They need to compare our shit, I dunno. It's the military, you know how they roll. They want the hard facts? They're getting it, right down to the amount of clips I used and the fact that I was patrolling in my going home clothes at some point because the uniform distribution counted for shit.

Looks like they were waiting until I stabilized or something.

I think I can do this, you know?

Maybe that trip back to 'Nam is finally in the cards, too.

I've been talking to some of the people on my block about the disasters in Japan. The general consensus seems to be 'it's awful', but I caught this one guy saying that we 'shouldn't help them, because they keep stealing our jobs and well, Pearl Harbor'. I wholeheartedly disagree. They helped us with Katrina, so c'mon, we owe them at least this. This is coming from someone whose old man died at Pearl Harbor.

I was so close to punching him. Instead, I just walked away. SO proud of myself. Yay.
